Welcome to the Online Edition of Equine Lifestyle Magazine
As global warming takes hold of our weather, you never really know what you are waking up to. Either way, die hard riders dress appropriately and forge ahead despite the weather.
Suppressing the annual urge to shop till you drop when you hit the tack shop entrance can be quite a challenge for many of us. It’s always uplifting to see the newest colors and fabrics utilized in making our ride more enjoyable. ELM will be bringing you articles relating not only to the latest designs but information about the designers themselves.
Many of the Anky creations are being purchased by equine lovers as well as golfers. This should come as no surprise to us, as we are all essentially athletes looking for fabric that breathes and moves with us so we can focus on our chosen sports.
We will be running a series of articles relating to natural products, both farm and equine related, as your letters have shown us that this is an area of strong interest to you. Whether you agree that raw milk is good or bad (the second part of that article is in this issue) you have certainly made your views known to me. I am elated that our articles are at the very least challenging your thoughts and inspiring you to investigate these things on your own.
Our newest writer joining the team at ELM, clinician Jonathan Field provides a step by step guide to creating stimulating quality time with your horse, even if the weather doesn't permit outdoor riding.
This issue sets the precedent for Equine Fashion to be a regular feature. On the horse and off, you will undoubtedly enjoy the wonderful creations that will be highlighted in our fashion show May 3rd (see our website for details; www.equine-lifestyle.com)
